it’s still very hard to understand but it’s starting off a bit better than the first one

okay so my second to last update would have been like that meme of the dude mining and stopping right before he’d have found the diamonds, don’t get me wrong, this book still has SEVERAL flaws but it’s not as bad as i thought.

waaaaiiiit this is actually a good twist (i understand what’s happening because i read the family tree at the end)

i’m more confused than i was 100 pages ago: the plot doesn’t really make sense, the objective is unclear, i thought it was supposed to be about dragons but there’s barely any and i don’t really understand the “enemy” part of the enemies-to-lovers, there doesn’t really seem to be a good reason for them to hate each other. plus, the style is too pretentious and trying too hard. i’m struggling.
