okay so my second to last update would have been like that meme of the dude mining and stopping right before he’d have found the diamonds, don’t get me wrong, this book still has SEVERAL flaws but it’s not as bad as i thought.

i’m more confused than i was 100 pages ago: the plot doesn’t really make sense, the objective is unclear, i thought it was supposed to be about dragons but there’s barely any and i don’t really understand the “enemy” part of the enemies-to-lovers, there doesn’t really seem to be a good reason for them to hate each other. plus, the style is too pretentious and trying too hard. i’m struggling.

very confused. world building: confusing. main plot line: confusing. where are the dragons? to many characters. feels like a mixture of crescent city and throne of glass. help
