I can't deal with the clichés in this book anymore.

How can someone get the flu twice in a year? I'm sure it's not impossible, but THAT'S NOT REALISTIC.

I feel like this book is full of platitudes. Ugh.

So, for some reason I thought this was set in New Jersey at first... then there was a flashback in Tacoma... okay... then I find that it is set in Seattle... okay... so... Seattle?

I knew something like what just happened was going to happen, but it still surprised me. My reaction was, "Oh no!". This is good writing.

Half way through! It's odd, I am very much sucked in by this plot and the writing, but I am looking forward to the end instead of wishing the book would never end. Usually when I like a book this much I want it to last forever.

This book is more interesting than the first of The Tawny Man Trilogy probably because most of the exposition was in the boring part of Fool's Errand. I'm at a part where things are starting to heat up. This book has a lot more dragons than previous books.

A little boring at first, I didn't think I was going to finish it. I am tolerating it now that all the exposition is through. I think I will end up liking it. The movie is really good, maybe the book will be just as good overall.
