And the world is interesting

Could this be a prequel to the Houses in the Cerulean sea?
I mean the settings are kinda different in that the house in the Cerulean sea was not as technologically advanced as This book or there were magical creatures in THITCS but other than that i could easily see how thing could escalate in this world And lead to the events in THITCS

There are many things that are irritating me in this one
Which is disappointing

Am i the only one who think that sometimes T.J's humour about men and straight people goes a bit far and sounds like mildly trashing them?!
Im all for powering women(since i am one) and queer people because its the right thing to do but idk sometimes i think we take it too far
The goal is to create a balance not to tip the scale in other direction

Now i know Klune had to address it and it was the right thing to do but i have a problem with how it started. Gibbsons went off on Nick's dad because he didnt tell them someone else's secret?!! I mean it wasn't his secret to tell!!!
All the things they said is correct but i think the setup for it was ridiculous

Its weird... i really dont like her writing but at the same time i love these Characters
The writing puts me off but my love for Simon, Baz and Penelope pushes me to read on
