It’s been an interesting experience reading this book, a work by a true conservative who nevertheless doesn’t throw his lot in with the right or left. He claims the malaises of modernity he’s diagnosing run much deeper than that.

It’s quite interesting to see how this book was adapted to the show and games. The structure is more like a series of stories involving Geralt than a single plot line, which would have made it easier to adapt to a game with multiple quests.

Finished Foundation, now on to Foundation and Empire! So far the second book is structured more like a novel rather than a series of interlinked stories.
