King has a penchant for writing clumsy women. A lot of ladies stumbling in this book.

A slow, tense burn. Makes strangers' ordinary sneezes and coughs somewhat alarming. Strange, regular use of the n-word

This book is exceedingly weird and frequently funny. It's a good read

What a strong opening. Strong images, visceral storytelling, shocking stakes. This kind of biz is what gives King his reputation.
