I absolutely loathe Marcy. What a sexual predator. I can't even fathom how she's remotely going to be redeemable.

Note to self: Rom arc is trash. Equality/empowerment sub arc is pretty good though. MC is a doormat. Bored as hell for the majority of this.

Notes to self: What a strange concept. Everyone thinks they should date. But they each DEMAND there is no "chemistry" between them. Repeatedly. Even if we get descriptions of attraction and response. They INSIST even several times a chapter that, nope, still nothing there. PLEASE do not insult my intelligence as a reader. Besides the MC's are amorphous and superficial. Zero depth of character. What went wrong Jae?

1/3 the way through a complete waste of my time. Unredeemable MC. What's the point of continuing to read a story I have zero interest in. Daisy doesn't deserve to be treated like shit for the entire novel and I don't have the patience to see when it changes. DNF.

MC Jo is a judgmental jerkface. You don't *have* to make an MC likable, but it sure helps if they're redeemable in some way... Jeeze.

Bored out of my mind. 20% in and the MC's still haven't even been in the same airspace as each other. Every other page (from each other's perspective) is spent saying how they're NOT going to date. I'm at the point now where I'm like, ok, book done. No one is going to do anything. So bloody frustrating.

Frankie acts like she's in high school what with all the ex drama.

You wanna piss me off? That's a good way to start. Biphobia. "The ultimate betrayal" for one of the MC's was that her GF left her for a man. This doesn't piss me off because I'm a man, this pisses me off because I'm bisexual. The LGBT community is consistently marginalized by those on the outside, but to do it from within our own? That's just stupid.

The MC acts in every way as if she's 12 years old. I am NOT impressed.

All large companies with web presence have policies in place for obvious down starring reviews. Queer lit is dear to my heart and I hate seeing this. Makes me mad at GR :(

Struggling to not DNF this book. The biphobia is making me want to fling ceramic against the walls. Who the hell in this day and age can be such an asshole. And then expect the reader to be all like, awwww it's ok. We understand how much of a biphobic asshole you are. This makes us want to curl up and have happy feels about the book we're spending HOURS on trying to get through. Actually. No it doesn't. At. All.

To have spent an entire book (book1) getting to know each other and falling.... at least in like with each other? To have them now not give 2 craps about the other is really bizarre. What a strange way to start a book.

Reading in remembrance of one of the best fanfic authors of our time. Rest in peace Suz.
