I’ll continue reading the series because I’d like to see where the storyline goes, and hopefully Feyra goes back to being a badass survivor instead of a lovestruck “simp,” as the kids say.

But really, guys. “Her hiiiiigh loorrrd,” come ONNNN. She knew him for like 3 months and is so head over heels in love that she would “do anything to save him.” Puhleeeease. I hope these get better!

The writing is awful. The author doesn’t know basic details. Like putting the “baby” in the motorized swing? She’s over a year old.
The dialogue is awful and superficial. Don’t get me started on the overly descriptive toddler/esque adjectives used to describe every setting.

The story would be great. The book just needs a lot of work. 😭

Dang, McFaddened again. I finished this in a few hours.
I swear, she’s the queen of thriller. I can’t put her books down!
