Perfect freaky read for October

For some reason, I keep picking this up exclusively when I'm knackered. Liking what my brain has been able to retain so far, though.

Why is this so sweet so far ?!!

Only took half of the book for them to realise the fucking obvious!!!!!!!!!!!

Reading outside my comfort zone because my friends have been dying for me to read/watch Shane and Ilya's story.

Plotwise I'm enjoying it because sports rivalry novels like this remind me of dark academia, the whole obsession with success bit.

Smutwise, what can I say. I don't like smut on my novels, tv series or even films. But that's a me thing and I am aware this book has lots of it. I'm being very brave okay?!

The bit where the Deutsche Bahn inspector wouldn't let her go until she showed him her ticket... Thought I was reading a non-fiction for a second there

I can't for the life of me put this book down
