I’m intrigued with the plot, but I’m hesitant to say I like the characters yet. Something feels forced and unnatural.

Historical fiction with a Civil War and WWII parallel story line is a big win for me! Racism saddens me so much. Why can’t people see others as humans too? Heaven will be colorful, and I’m all for it!!

Seek wise council in marriage and parenting! Be humble enough to ask for help!

Reading the junior version after seeing it on shelf at library. He’s so positive, full of stories, and encouraging. His applications for teens are solid!!

Fun descriptions of creatures

A teacher at a district meeting mentioned reading this and loving it, and then a couple weeks later I saw it displayed in our library for the Idaho reading team competition and decided it was my next read. Fantasy is not my usual genre, but I’m enjoying the characters and 2 worlds (Narnia like) right now. It’s funny at times too.
