Does anyone else get the ick from a grown woman getting her dad’s approval to date a man???? Like that misogynistic crap just annoys me so much 🙄. I think that scene by itself knocked out a whole star from my rating

THERE IS THE MYSTERY AND DRAMA I WAS LOOKING FOR

I’m 60% of the way so it feels a little late but better than never. Super excited to see where Lena takes the mystery behind Whip’s mom

While I love that Whip is gonna stand up to his father, I don’t feel like that growth was really explored all that much. It’s like Whip woke up on this random day and was all ‘fuck that guy’

I’m really loving how their relationship is progressing. I’d still like a bit more drama and mystery from the plot but I’m having a good time

I’m a sucker for when an FMC looks at something and says “it’s gorgeous”

Then our MMC responds “yes” and she turns around to find him LOOKING AT HER

That shit gets me giggling and kicking my feet!

I’m still waiting for…more

I feel like there are a lot of potential for conflict and mystery but the author is just keeping everything surface level

Bonus points for all the mentions of pierced dicks 😂
