The book is really starting to wrap up as we get a final look at how the men and dogs settle into a normal life.

The dogs are still suffering from PTSD as are the men but they are starting to do a little better.

We are still looking at what happens when wars end. Some people have had a hard time readjusting and filling the missing gap in their life.

I got to part 6 what happens when a war ends, where we look at the effect war had on the dog and it's handler.

We spent the whole chapter learning about a new dog, Bo. Who is a more quiet dog, but he gets stuff done and he is very smart, both with common sense and tactically.

Sergeant Adam Cann was the first dog handler killed in Iraq.

We're on part 4 now called "The Fallen" and there have already been 3 dogs that have died. All from an IED going off and shrapnel exploding.

They took a turn from all the war and violence and had a chapter about the studies they've done on the love connection between dogs and humans.

Ethos- a highly credible and valued soldier gave advice to someone younger. Pathos- the same soldier used emotional appeals like bringing in family. Pathos- the soldier also used logic like "you can't go out on a mission while your in a rage."

Something I learned was that if you worry about something you don't want to happen it will happen if you worry about it so much.
