Chapter 19 How we view work
A very insightful chapter of how we are trained by society to strive for ‘work work work’ and to ‘succeed, and don’t be a burden’ by constantly feeling the pressure to give up pieces of ourselves and years of our lives in order to make a living. Contributing to society’s expectations becomes more important than personal happiness which results in depression and loneliness.

If I was the type of person to annotate I’d be annotating the F out of this book. There would be so many sentences marked to come back to in the future and reflect on. I can already tell this is the type of book that a person can come back to again and again and get something new from it.
