Entering part 2, “fashioning women in the third Reich”

Part 1, section 1 is mostly about German attitudes towards fashion pre WWI, section 2 is about the continued struggle between fashionable and patriotic during WWI. Just started section 3, which is (so far) the inter war period. Accessible, and chronological which makes it easy to follow, though the introduction belies a tendency for mild redundancy in the writing. Thorough, though. Clearly well researched.
