I'm enjoying the writing style and the strong focus on Connell and Marianne's internal worlds. Their messy adolescent actions are engaging and really draw the reader in. However, I'm still hoping for a deeper exploration or direct confrontation of Marianne's character—particularly her struggles with abuse, violence and loss. I feel there's still much more to uncover about her emotional and psychological complexities.
