A medical student is forced to go back and tend to her grandma who suffered from a stroke. when she arrives she is haunted by the old memories of Maiden Wood and discovers the terrible secrets from past generations left behind.

I chose human vs self because in the book the young medical student is conflicted about helping her old family relative because in her past her old relative was not kind to her. I also choose human vs human because there is murder in this book.
