Well I'm intrigued. Didn't know the author of 'Golden Terrace' had other works

Oh yes, they have several. I’ve read a modern one that’s said to be a spin-off of Golden Terrace, although it was only remotely related. This wuxia one has a strong start. I hope I’ll love it as much as GT.
