What. The. Actual. Heck. Lochran is more psychotic than any of Jennifer Lynn Barnes serial killers she's written (Daniel Redding might be as bad as Lochran). I'm kinda sick to my stomach after reading chapter 83. Also, is the Code of Silence series by Tim Shoemaker a book series in this? Cuz the quote: "Sometimes rescuing a friend from darkness . . . means going in after them." was from the front of Back Before Dark.

I have cried a little multiple times throughout this book so far.

Also, the moments between Harley and Miss Lopez are sweet (in the mother and son kind of way).😊

KitKat!!!!!!!! The scene where Harley named the dog made me cry a little. Also, poor Parker.


P.S. why can't Ella and Jelly just stop poking around in other people's business? I mean, I understand why Miss. Lopez is trying to figure out what's going on with Harley but Ella and Jelly don't really have a reason, if Harley and Parker need help they'll ask when they need it and open up when they're ready.
