Although I enjoyed the seemingly aimless journal entries of the protagonist, I'm glad to see a plot slowly developing and a sense of intrigue setting in from the fantastical House that just keeps giving

The book is charming like a low-tide on a lazy day, but I have no idea what it is leading up to or what I am to make of all geography of the house. I've elected to read without taking it seriously and just see where the plot takes me

switched to kindle. a little difficult to keep the fantasy setting in mind.

the audiobook's narrator sounds good, but it is insanely difficult to follow the world-building in this fantasy world. may switch to book/kindle if it dampens my pace
