This book had me so confused. Growing up in NI I couldn’t place it in any time frame. I think it is meant to be an alternative history. The GFA happened & then the conflict began again with no real discernible reason. Bit of an oversight. ‘Should we close the schools down?’ ‘Are the going to target a primary school?’ IRA weapons hidden in a field in Greyabbey… if you know, you know. Just bizarre.
