It’s so strange to go in between reading three great Russian classics to this American 1950’s beat poetry.
I can honestly say that while it is technically brilliant, it doesn’t have much to say so far. He is describing the places where he is traveling in a beautiful way but it’s just rife with white privilege and racism. Just gonna say it. He was a great poet, wasn’t a great man.
