Its at this point in book 2 that I really feel tired reading this book. Im enjoying the story, but the pacing is one thing after another after another rapidly. They never stay anywhere for very long or have any calm moments. The last time in this series that we had a genuinely chill scene was right before sh*t hit the fan on the very next page.

Oooo we just escaped a castle through a tunnel that is probably common knowledge for the shadow guard who live here, but sure we have time to chat without creating ANY distance. That cant go wrong in any way 🤦🏻♀️ Sh*t just happened, but run now and process later.
