Despite that rich countries spend SIGNIFICANTLY MORE on immigration enforcement rather than climate finance. effectively slamming the door.

this part of the book details, the exploitation of temporary migrant workers around the world. Employers get to hold citizenship and these people‘s rights to stay in their home and in the country that they live in over their heads, which gives them massive leverage. Making these migrants unable to advocate for themselves at all. this relationship is created by the separation we create with our borders being closed
