So far so good, the book picks up immediately following the 1st book, however, because it does immediately follow, there is the lack of explanation of some details. For instance, we are re introduced to Remlar; this character didn’t have a significant enough impact for me in the 1st book so I found myself googling who these characters were as a refresher.
