I will carry this with me into my “Looking for Home” project. This sentiment is why I was drawn to Agnes Callard. We need someone to really talk to in everyday life, in order to find home in this strange world. At least some of us do. I fell apart because I didn’t find this home.

I encountered Agnes Callard by chance in a four years old article suggested to me as a new subscriber to The New Yorker. I read her review of an Ingemar Bergman tv series and just went “wow”. Those words she used to describe loneliness and the meaning of life were just things I had tried to explain but not found resonating in others. So here we go…
