this book is js so freaking helpful. i realize that i do have a lot of things to learn and implement in order to write what i wanna write the way i wanna write it

i also didn’t think about action in chapter 1. i need to. ACTION IS THE KEY IN BOOKS.

literally speechless. a scene is not what i imagined—but now i realized that i actually LOVE scenes and the lack of them is what i call “bad prose” (at least part of it)

now i know what i need to master in my own writing. it feels SO nice to have the language and be able to google the exact thing i need
