// If she were writing DIALOGUE in a certain colloquialism, that'd be somewhat understandable of course, but this is HER narration, and it's so grating and obnoxious!!! You can say "you don't need convinced", the CORRECT sentence would be 'you don't need to be convinced' OR 'you don't need convincing'!!!! This author is HORRIBLE when it comes to her command with the English language - she's obnoxious as fuck!!!!
