I loved 28 Summers, and Mallory + Jake were two lovable characters—infidelity be damned! For some reason reading Rosie’s journal entries were so juicy but angering. Like reading the villain’s POV at the end of a thriller. Maybe I empathize with Irene too much because we’re both midwesterners. Russ is 50% of the problem too, but Rosie selfishly not heeding her mama’s warning is shameful.
