i adore this book.. but. it's most likely going to get 3.5 stars from me.
no matter how much i like historical fiction and retellings (especially queer ones, this book does Patroclus so dirty. also the bi erasure? i completely respect this as how the author wants to re-tell the story, but it's just not my cup of tea.
then again, i'm halfway done only, so maybe this will change by the time i'm done the book!
