Breathtaking, depressing, inspirational, captivating, and heartbreaking! The reality of horses’ lives back in the day were so cruel, pain and torment. I am so glad this is not the case for them anymore. The book has 315 pages, but it’s an easy read with the chapters ranging from 2 - 6 pages long. This story is well deserving of 5 out of 5 stars!
