While the first section on studying the Bible was minimally helpful compared to other hermeneutics books I have read, the second section on “Focusing the Message” was very helpful. The explanation of the domains of learning (mind, heart, hands) and the tips for writing lesson aims will be quite helpful both in my own teaching and in my teacher training in the local church setting.
