the pace of the book is picking up and finally i found i couldn’t put it down. i have been waiting for this book to do this and finally at the end it does this.
found a lovely quote
“use the technology which the engineer has developed, but use it with a humble and questioning spirits. never allowed technology to be your master, and never use it to gain mastery over others.”

some good quotes
“although i make objections i am excited by the idea”
relatable
“a miasma of somnolence hangs over the house”
like those words
“but what if the human spirit is noble and generous - and creative, empathetic, imaginative, spiritual - all those things we try to be - and sometimes it’s just not strong enough to withstand all the meanness selfishness in the world”

it’s okay. good to get back into reading. i forget how mundane this book is. it’s nice to escape my world for some time but it’s a bit dull…

i’m still sad, but it makes sense now.
so tired my eyes can barely read, and every noise throws me off. but i read a chapter. and i mostly enjoyed it.
now for (hopefully) a deep slumber. my first slumber alone in a long long time
