It’s a more consistent, flowing narrative style novel; a stream of consciousness. It feels more conversational and I surprisingly like it, a lot. The protagonist is very 2000s and clearly flawed, which I’m living for honestly because I’m TIRED of extremely likeable female characters.

Just want to add that I additionally empathise with the protagonist because it’s clear despite her privilege, she hasn’t been neglected by suffering in life. The torn emotions that are already rippling through me in regards to her is refreshing when I feel like female protagonists still are somewhat deprived of realistic portrayals and storytelling.
