Incredible book. Full of a strange spirituality. Accessible for Faulkner, too.

Incredibly visionary. The movement of the characters, their thoughts, is spellbinding. And you’re right, I love the strange almost mystic way it plays out. The haunting buzzards, how Darl can somehow see what’s happening at the house even through he isn’t there… all I can say is: My mother is a fish.
