JEMISIN I HAVE QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this book is just weirdly sexual at times, the magic and world building is rooted in these randomly sexual things that I do find quite strange sometimes.

okay, now we are picking up, and i am getting invested more, the dream like magic is so interesting, and unique.

the world building is kinda making my brain hurt a little :(

I love Egyptian-fantasy novels. I love when religious people in power use their influence to harm others. I love a corrupt government. So basically, I should LOVE this book.

My thought here is that I am going to read the other Jemisin books before The Broken Earth trilogy so the bar isn't set too high that I don't enjoy the others.
