I got so confused by the line and then kept reading and like why is there just so good? You genuinely never see what’s coming with this book I love it.

Did not see that twist. Also what concerns me is another betrayal upcoming: is Mustang going to betray Darrow or is he referring to the Ceres slave girl or even Antonia since we haven’t heard from her in a while? I also like how you forget just like everyone else about the houses. It’s Darrow’s followers; not the house of Mars. There is no house of anyone anymore.

Okay now seriously what is it with the continuous spanking??

Darrow and his team are so so smart. I thought after Sevro drank the wine and left, they would find his dead body later on but I could not have been more wrong. This was so cool.

Darrow is really learning how to lead the right way. It’s nice to see that he still remains true to his identity as a Red; not being overcome by being surrounded by privileged Golds. It’s nice to see his fight, his passion, his ambition and how he sees everyone as human despite their ranks. He doesn’t hold complete hate but knows his enemy.

I also don’t like this romance sub plot which has been added in. I don’t know if it’s because I’d prefer if Darrow was alone or if I don’t like how Mustang is essentially piggybacking off Eo in Darrow’s mind. It makes her feel like a replacement of Eo rather than one echoed quote (“live for more”) which could have suggested parallels or at most, a foil. Also, I don’t think it was introduced well.
