After finally having broken my teeth with 'The Lions of Al-Rassan' last year, I cannot have enough of Kay. He's one writer who I think is going to have a profound impact on not only how I think but also how I feel.
The characters here, like in Al-Rassan are worldly and profound. But it's startling how distinct they are and how truly rooted they are in their land and culture.
