The author is doing such a great job at portraying this tragedy in such a light hearted and romantic way. The way he has created Haru perfectly to fit his every need on a day to day basis. Haru shows up when Erik thinks about him or needs him, and he asks Erik questions one would only ever ask themselves. I love the perspective in this story.
