I have the audiobook from Audible. I'm currently at 66%, but after going back and reading more reviews and comments, I wanted to try to express some thoughts. I'm not sure that I saw any reviews or comments from men (I probably missed some, but they are pretty rare.
I've threatened several times to quit, but it is so horrifying that I keep going. It is scary and disgusting to realize that the events are real.

(Sorry, ran out of room) sad to see that in some corners we seem to be regressing, but this time it's not mad scientists, but mad politicians. Maybe we should require them to read this before passing legislation concerning women's bodies. (I'm beginning to lose my words) Making a women carry a deformed or DEAD fetus is too close to what I would expect Dr Weir to do.

I finished it. The final portion in some ways redeemed the earlier horrors. But it left me a little unsettled. This was my first reading of this author and if I were familiar with her work I might have expected it to end as it did (but no spoilers). I still see just a little bit of commentary on where we might be headed today.
