Böhmermann is a famous late night host, a little like John Oliver, and I think he does a great job in this NYT video - I hope it answers your question!

(John Oliver is viewed as being wrong on almost everything, in the UK) I’ll watch this video now though

Hi Frank from Canada. Given that you don't even know the name of the party you are supporting here I would suggest you may need to read up on their and other parties policies if you want to make recommendations.

There needs to be a more conservative choice that is democratic in the political spectrum, it would be horrible if people actually had to choose between left-wing & fascist and that's it. So if the social democrats have some brain cells left, they will stop discrediting democratic conservatives, because it only enhances polarization. And frankly, the last government did a lot to make people lose faith in the democratic system by spectacularly and publicy displaying incompetence and concentrating on petty fights.
