The global powers of the 20th century fought all up and down this country, and I'm just sad. The people turned on each other as power switched hands so many times, only to stay divided. Ransacked again and again, a national identity built by generational robbery. Makes me think that change-agents are the only "heros", that to breathe the status-quo is to justify present oppression rooted in historical savagery.

Almost done with it! Very sad, but really interesting. It represents a lot of interesting geopolitics and history. Super comprehensive on Korea's culture and origins, even down to weather impacts.
