I find it hard to believe this repressed, proper hero had an elicit same sex affair with his brother in law. He won’t even kiss her and doesn’t believe in dalliances. Was this shoe horned in to check a pansexual box?

It really is my least favourite thing when characters act way “out of character!”

Yes same. It keeps being mentioned but they don’t act like they were involved and could just be friends for all the steam they have. Pointless. There could have been angst or drama there but there wasn’t. Blah.
