I’m reading “Perfect in Christ” by Michelle Wilson and keep sending screenshot quotes to my husband. She talks about being “sufficient” not perfect. God is perfect. Christ is perfect. They only ask that we be sufficient and draw near to them. It’s not about waiting to be perfect to receive God’s blessings and answers. It’s about having the humility in turning toward Him because He is perfect.
