He joined a group of individuals that helped capture and identify high ranking officers involved in the camps. He finally caught goeth. Being in his shoes I can understand why he wanted to hurt goeth and he had every right to.

These last couple of pages dealt with his wife and kids. He spoke very highly of them and his faith in god. I truly believe he had good intentions and really passed down good morals onto his kids. I would like to think it was more so his morals rather than his religious background. Just because someone practices religion does not necessarily mean they have good morals, but it probably does help some people.

Not a very exciting or interesting read today. Dozy off a bit. I think he’s trying to reunite lost children with their family and reconvert people to Judaism.

War finally ended. A quote that stuck with me was when he said I now had to figure out what I liked. This, of course, is a very poorly and grammatically incorrect version of his words by me. But the power those words had were amazing. It’s in page 121.

Did you know he was known as a savior to some in ludofs camp? He talked his way into working inside the house of the person in charge of the camp. Then he would take food and give sneak it for other prisoners.

Back. Should read more often. Felt a little slow today.
Honestly I think the worse part was having to read the ways they tortured people in mauthausen.

The story of how they would pack them into carts was horrendous. Having to think of a small tight place where people constantly die until you reach your destination is truly evil. Truly crazy how people could agree to treat others like this. Is that a life worth living?
