page 360 / 662 which really equates to being two thirds of the way through if you don’t count the appendices and exhibits i’ve already read so far- it’s getting real. it’s getting really real, and really sad. looking forward to finishing this book but still finding a lot of treasure within it.

all I can do is laugh about how ridiculously convoluted chapter 9 was. it had me reading upside down, side to side, backwards, forwards, backwards again, and through a mirror, which only conveys the absolute descent into madness in which everyone is falling. great shout out to arthouse cinema kings (david lynch, luis buñuel) and love line with dr. drew. 10 out of 10, I’m so glad that chapter is over.

updating my progress via percentage is completely arbitrary, and a page number update seems impossible to determine. i’m on 103 but that doesn’t include the pages from the back of the book where i witnessed a complete detailing of the mind, which i won’t comment on further to avoid spoilers for anybody. suffice it to say, this is the first book i’ve deemed worthy enough for an update only halfway(?) through.
