“The Scientist’s Horror Story” reminded me a bit of a Tales from the Crypt episode. I wish there had been a third story without the story as there are 3 characters, but other than that I enjoyed it and kind of feeling like the ending hits on a whole new level thanks to today’s current events. Felt very original Invasion of the Body Snatchers movie ending.

"Collections" definitely had me wanting the lead character to run like the wind because the fact this crazy tale is made to feel normal is even more disturbing. Finishing the last one tomorrow.

I didn't really feel "Capgras" and was expecting more from the story as a theme kept getting brought up. I don't know if I missed something or not but when looking online to see if I did, someone else said the same thing. Sooooo either we both did or it's not there.

“Night Moves” actually reminds me a bit of a Creepshow episode from season 1 I believe.

“Eulogy for a Brother, Resurrected” is one of those times where you wonder if you’d listen to “sometimes dead is better” or not. And I think that’s the thing….we all have people if we could we’d like to bring back which makes stories like this one all the more compelling.

"Sundays" is a very rough read and very trigger warning from the beginning. If anyone in book club wants more information just let me know.

"Uncle Robert Rides The Lightning" is such an interesting story. I enjoyed how different it was from the rest of the stories and really enjoyed it.

"The Prepper" has such an amazing line in it that says: "We are not miracles gone wrong but instead we are miracles going wrong." It just hits a certain way right now. I really loved this story. It's bittersweet in so many ways and so well written and honestly speaks so much about society right now in general with the universal themes throughout it.

"Dead Owls" is the story that I read today. I'm definitely going to be adding the books of the author to read. I really enjoyed this one. So tragic in one sense and so sweet in another.

“The Longest Street in the World” is an interesting one. Don’t know if I was in the headspace and/or some things were just lost on me but I had to listen and follow along in the book and I still looked some things up. Interested in knowing what Renee thinks of an aspect of this one.
