I would read this book all over again (that would be the third time) just for Dick Swiveller and the Marchioness. I love them so much. Also for the evil Quilp. You've got to admire his single mindedness. Insult him, however unintentionally or tangentially, and he's going to weave an intricate plot to bring you down. As Kit knows, to his sorrow.

Oh no, we have now seen the obsessed/crazy side of Grandfather. How will Nell handle it? This is leavened by the traveling waxworks show and their marketing efforts. It makes me think of Nicholas Nickleby and his stay with the theater company.
