<… I can’t think of what I enjoyed about this. Lou-Ann and Derek and the adorable teen cousin but otherwise… Brook’s character was so thin, all she needed was one conversation from Lou-Ann (which, btw why couldn’t Jason have had that conversation?!) and she was all “ okay all good then”. The characters just all lacked depth and therefore relatability. Especially needed if you’re not a pop star…>

I don’t know why I kept going with this book. I ended up listening at 2.25 speed and I was still relieved it was over. I think I kept it up because I was hoping it would get better? But the non communication (Jason) and the refusing to listen and running away (Brook) and the grand gesture (saw it a mile away) and the constant hints to Grayson/Cam spinoff (seriously, Brook is dense if she didn’t sense it) .. >

I’m so uninterested I didn’t even realise his name was Jason not Justin (*facepalm*).

This enemies to lovers is more like annoying to flirting. Besides “spending time together” what is really bringing them together?

What is even up with this girl? Sassy not like other girls pop star… gives such Swift vibes. Ugh. And Justin kisses her out of nowhere with no invitation and she’s okay with it because they’re flirting? I get that they’re young and carefree but come on…
