I need some help!
The acute inpatient psych facility I work at has a small library for the teen patients. The books tend to go missing a lot. Right now the lgbtq shelf is completely empty. I need to put some books on the wish list for our upcoming book drive, but they have to be okay for teens with severe anxiety and depression, so nothing about self harm, suicide, assault, sex on page, etc. Give me some ideas!

That's kind of an intimidating qualifier. Glancing over my YA shelf I wanna say maybe Wren Martin Ruins It All and Bianca Torre Is Afraid of Everything? But there's chars dealing w grief in the first, and the lead's got bad anxiety in the second, so idk if that's a plus or a minus.

Hmm... that's a tough one. Scrolling through my shelf, these might qualify:One Man Guy
Just Juliet: An LGBT Love StoryFifteen Hundred Miles from the Sun
Life According to Maps: Omnibus Edition
Thank you for the suggestions!Has anybody read these and how would they rate, especially for on page sex?
Will Grayson, Will Grayson
Simon vs The Homosapiens Agenda
Heartstopper: Volume One
How to Repair a Mechanical Heart
And YA books with trans protagonists that aren't depressing?
Klune's Cerulean Sea books. The 2nd I admit wasn't my favourite - not a fan of being lectured to by authors, no matter the issues - but for what you're looking for, it would be appropriate.
You should probably read whatever you choose to include. What I and others would find "nothing much" may not be what you're looking for. Is even sharing a bed or kissing - too much sex. Most YA books have atleast that including the above. Most fantasy have some sort of violence or quest - even these have threats of harm by the once character that are immediately dealt with by the "adults" - again, I don't think that's excessive because it's the characters identity and it's immediately dealt with calmly and appropriately and everyone moves forward again.Even Harry Potter has violence in it. So does Mercedes Lackey and she has a LGBTQ characters in many of her stories but it's not gratuitous and I wouldn't call it excessive. It's fantasy, kings, queens, quest and wars.
As a teen I worked in a library and read only adult books - I checked them out myself - so finding them "children's books" isn't appropriate either.
Something to think about.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson
Simon vs The Homosapiens Agenda"
Will Grayson, Will Grayson: I put that on my depression shelf. One of the characters has depression/anxiety disorders. I read it too long ago to remember any other details. No sex though.
Simon Vs: Also no sex. There's a blackmail plotline that causes quite a bit of anxiety though, so I wasn't sure if that met your criteria. If that one's okay, though, Felix Ever After has a similar story structure/plot, but the MC is trans. No sex either in that, iirc.
Heartstopper: I haven't read them, only seen the Netflix adaptation, but they both have a character with eating disorder and past cutting, and it gets pretty heavy in the show. From comments I've seen, it's similar in the books.
