I'm reading this to my 7 year old daughter. She picked it out and it is above her reading level. I am thrilled to be reading anything to her because my other 2 children never cared at all about reading.

Meh...This book was ok but I couldn't help but see the obvious anti-child abuse propoganda making everyone afraid that if they touch their kids their kids will die. Kids are tougher than we think and though I don't condone child abuse in any way I think this book was a bit counter intuitive.
